Luxurious cruise ship to return in service from 29th November


The Safety Investigation Authority (Otkes) has said it won’t start a standard examination concerning how the Viking Grace journey transport steered into the rocks off the shore of Mariehamn within the Åland Islands on 21 November.

Otkes chief Veli-Pekka Nurmi told the STT news agency that the selection was made on the grounds that nothing has appear during the elemental test that might demonstrate, as an example , a specialized disappointment of the boat.

Viking Grace, which may convey up to 2,800 individuals, had 331 travelers and 98 group individuals on board at the hour of the mishap. No wounds were accounted for.

The cruise ship will return in service from 29 November.
